Assermento is our directory of sworn (court-certified) translators. It is built from the official lists — the registers of experts of France's courts of appeal and the list of sworn translators and interpreters published by Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs — so people can find a translator by language and city for their official documents.

Official lists that are hard to use
A birth certificate, a diploma or a court judgment often has to be translated by a sworn translator before an administration accepts it. The people who can do it are listed officially — but in France each court of appeal publishes its own list of experts, as a document, and in Spain the ministry publishes one long national list. Finding a translator for a given language near you means opening many files.
Assermento puts those lists in one place, organised the way people search: a language and a city.

The official lists of every French court of appeal, and the list of sworn translators and interpreters of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Each translator's languages and location are read out of the documents, court by court.

The extracts are normalised and merged into one dataset per country.

Pages are generated by language and by city or province, with guides in French and Spanish.

How Assermento runs
Assermento is a Next.js 16 and React 19 site generated statically from the normalised data, so every page is fast and readable by search engines without JavaScript. It ships as a Docker image, like every Takat product. The official lists remain the reference: Assermento makes them searchable, it does not replace them.
