AI for retail and e-commerce

AI for retail and e-commerce, from the question to the order.

Shoppers ask before they buy: which size, which model, when will it arrive, can I return it. We build fast custom shops and AI assistants for retailers and e-commerce brands that answer those questions from your real catalogue, take the order with a payment link on WhatsApp, and tell the customer where the parcel is.

A custom online shop for a sports equipment brand

What we would build for you

AI that sells without inventing

  • A shop that loads fast

Static product pages and a hosted checkout instead of a heavy platform theme — the approach behind the padel shop we run, in French and English.

  • A product assistant

Answers on size, compatibility, materials and delivery, taken only from your product data and policies — if the answer is not there, it says so and offers a person.

  • Ordering on WhatsApp

The customer picks, the agent confirms the basket and sends a payment link; the order lands in the same system as web orders.

  • Where is my order

Order status and tracking links sent by message, so the most common support question answers itself.

  • Loyalty and repeat orders

Points and reorders on WhatsApp for shops with regulars — the loyalty flow of our café ordering demo.

  • Product content

Descriptions and translations drafted from your specifications and checked by your team — never invented reviews, ratings or claims.

What to automate first

Start with the questions that block a sale

  1. 01

    Read the support inbox

Sort a month of messages: product questions before purchase, delivery questions after.

  2. 02

    Answer delivery first

Order status and tracking are the easiest to automate and the most asked.

  3. 03

    Then the product assistant

Fed with your catalogue and policies, with a person one tap away.

  4. 04

    Then ordering

WhatsApp orders with a payment link, once the assistant answers well.

What to respect

Rules that apply to shopping assistants

Consumer law in most countries holds the seller to what it tells the buyer, so an assistant must quote prices, delivery times and return conditions from your own data, never improvise them. Card details belong with the payment provider: the assistant sends a payment link and never sees the card.

Marketing messages on WhatsApp need the customer's opt-in and an approved template; order updates are a different, cheaper category. Our note on WhatsApp Business API pricing sets out the categories.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • How can retailers and e-commerce brands use AI?

To answer product and delivery questions from their own catalogue and policies, take orders on WhatsApp with a payment link, send tracking updates by message, run loyalty and reorders, and draft product descriptions and translations for the team to check.

  • Do you build on Shopify?

The shop we run for a sports equipment brand is custom: static pages with Stripe checkout instead of a hosted e-commerce platform. The assistant and WhatsApp ordering can also connect to an existing shop.

  • Can the assistant give discounts or change prices?

No. Prices, delivery times and return conditions come from your own data, and anything that commits the shop stays with your team.

What do shoppers ask you before they buy?

Bring your support inbox; we will show you what an assistant would answer.
